The Return of Capital and New Glory Days

It seems fitting that the new issue of Capital Magazine has arrived on our doorstep just as Wellington has started buzzing again. People have returned home from holidays, work and school have started back, the bars and cafes have gone from crickets and tumbleweeds to loud crowds and standing room only and Wellington is gearing up for Fringe, the Sevens and the New Zealand Festival. It's lovely to see it alive and thriving again after a well deserved Christmas break; long may these hot, summer days continue!

Capital Magazine has put forth an issue of festival fun, Spanish colour and as always, sweet Wellington vibes. The fashion section is full of summer brights, and the food section is brilliant as always; my favourite column being the beer one, naturally. We've got limited copies, $3.90 each, so do make sure you pop by and grab one. It's the perfect thing to read over a morning coffee, trust me!

(Also, hot damn. Babes on a beach!)

We're happy to have the first print edition of Glory Days here at M.F.P. Over the past year, Glory Days has established a solid space on the internet for all you vintage lovers and admirers. They have finally brought into the world a beautiful print edition for you to really get your paws onto, and it's pretty wonderful.

This issue is really your quintessential guide to all things Art Deco. A big spread on the Napier Art Deco Weekend is perfect for anyone attending this year and an interview with cover star Pokey LaFarge will have you gearing up for the upcoming WOMAD festival. There's also classic cars, food, fashion, pinups and so much more. So pick up a copy from us or grab it from our online store by clicking HERE.
