Highnoontea’s AW 14 collection – Me, You and Everyone We Know – explores a mix of concepts and interpretations.

The collection is created around the idea of a tight knit group of females all bringing their own sense of style and drama to the table. Borrowing clothes out of your friends’ wardrobe and wearing it in your own way or trying something you wouldn’t normally try based on an influence from a person you admire, Design details explore awkward hem lengths, curved lines, three quarter sleeves and oversized collars. A geeky sensibility is prominent throughout and quirky accessories from the range tie all the pieces together. The colour palette returns to the signature highnoontea black, mixing different textures and fabrics to create dramatic, yet easy to wear pieces. Soft nudes and taupes in merino and silk feature heavily throughout, juxtaposing the strong black shades. Me, You and Everyone We Know aims to be approachable, smart, interesting and humorous just like the people you surround yourself with.
