Look, I'll be honest. I went to school with the owner just a few (ahem) years ago. She was always artsy and kind, and I was not especially cool or fashionable. Well Claire stayed artsy and kind and when I can I browse her stuff. It's so cute and stylish and obviously chosen with care. This is a fantastic store- ideal for all your gift or "I just need me a treatie" needs. Love supporting local, love supporting women - aiming to eventually be able to afford more of this cool stuff.

One of Greytown's special shops that has so many special gifts. Whether it's for a loved one, friend or yourself, I am never disappointed when I visit. The staff are friendly, helpful and service is always delivered with a smile. We are very lucky to have this treasure in our beautiful town.

Shopping at MFP is the best experience! Such a cool store, bright and colourful, with lots and lots of treasures to find. We bought SO many things - an awesome kids' book that we adults can't put down, some cute greeting cards, yummo gingerbread chocolate (yes!), and some amazing socks for "the best freaking mum in the world". There were so many other choices - beautiful clothes, jewellery, books and gorgeous smelly things. Claire is so friendly and engaging. We left feeling so happy that we'd knocked off so much of our Christmas list. We will definitely return!

Cutest wee store and the owner is the loveliest! Super kind and helpful when I called to order a few last-minute birthday gifts for friends and co-workers over the phone and complicated things with a mixed-payment method. She was patient and even offered to gift wrap it all! So grateful; there aren't that many places to find so many unique pressies for a range of people in the one store!

MFP is always my go-to browsing shop (and more often than not a browse is a buy). I recently bought three pairs of earrings I didn't know I needed. All the lovely *things* in the shop are delightful but the best bit is the lovely wāhine who are so helpful and friendly, and for a small moment you feel like you're part of the best girl gang in town. Plus you walk out with earrings you didn't know you needed.

I popped into Madam Fancy Pants today with my family and bought some beautiful Christmas decorations. The service was fantastic and the selection in store was great. Definitely a must visit when in Greytown!!

Just wanted to share that I bought a couple of special items online recently from MFP, including something fragile, and I was so was blown away and in awe of the care and attention that was taken to package and wrap up my order safely. I also loved Claire’s thoughtful handwritten note and sweet words. I so appreciated the little extra attention to detail given and will definitely ordering again. As a small business owner myself I know the effort that goes on behind the scenes and the care that goes into each order and I definitely felt the love. ❤️

Friendly, helpful, inclusive and welcoming, and with the most beautiful gift wrapping you can imagine. I don’t get across to Greytown very often but their quick turnaround for online orders means it’s not a problem :)

MFP should be where I buy gifts for other people, but the truth is everything I buy from here ends up being mine. Claire always wraps things so beautifully and pops in a hand written note so it feels like a present from a mate. I cannot tell you how many times I have bought for friends only to have the item arrive and I have just kept it. I also really appreciate the size-inclusivity! MFP rules! Best little shop in NZ.

Quite simply, Madame Fancy Pants is *that* store. You know - the one you always find lovely things in. Claire’s online shopping experience is second to none and her Greytown store is not to be missed if you’re over in Wairarapa for the day. I bought a beautiful balloon dress by DressedNZ online and it arrived inside a week. My purchase was everything I knew it would be - as described (infact above and beyond), stylish, great quality, uniquely New Zealand made and lovingly curated by Claire. Packaged beautifully and with a li’l note just for me. Best shopping experience by a country mile!

Love the new Greytown store & the lovely staff. Have been in a few times now and also bought from the online store many times. Bought a gift for mum online and they went above and beyond handwriting in the card for me for mother's day and directly shipping to mum for me. Also I have bought mamy gorgeous dresses from MFP over the years, worn numerous times and still going strong, incredible quality garments.

This is one of my favourite shops in the world! Such a beautiful collection of clothing, home and giftwear. Visiting the physical store in Wellington was always a highlight of my trip home from Aus but it’s great to still be able to shop online and visit the cute wee Greytown store. If only I lived closer!
