Fancy Ever After
I'm currently awaiting approval as an Independent Marriage Celebrant. If you'd like to be among the first to hear when bookings open, I'd love to hear from you.
Hello, lovely humans who may be scouting for a celebrant!
I'm Claire Terry aka Madame Fancy Pants, and after more than 26 years of creating memorable experiences through retail, performing and MCing I'm excited to be taking the next step on my journey toward becoming an Aotearoa based Independent Marriage Celebrant.
Fancy Ever After is currently in its early chapters. I've recently completed the Independent Celebrant application process and am awaiting my interview with the Department of Internal Affairs (yes, it is all very legal ya know! If you like it then you should put a ring on it requires P A P E R - W O R K!). My grand vision is simple: to create ceremonies that are joyful. Whether your style is relaxed and casual, quirky and fun or Mills and Boon romantic, I believe every ceremony should tell your story in a way that feels authentic and memorable.
One of the things that will make Fancy Ever After a little different is one of my many side quests as a metalsmith. In the near future, I will give couples the opportunity to create their own wedding rings in my Wairarapa studio - adding another special memory to the journey towards marriage.
For now, I'm busy learning and building the foundations of a celebrancy offering that reflects my values of warmth, inclusivity, creativity, and genuine connection. If you'd like to register your interest, or be among the first to hear when bookings open, I'd love to hear from you. This adventure is just beginning, and I can't wait to help celebrate life's meaningful moments with you!
