Fancy Ever After Celebrant

Hello, lovely humans who may be scouting for a celebrant to help celebrate.

I'm Claire Terry aka Madame Fancy Pants, and after more than 26 years of creating memorable experiences for and with folks through retail, performing and MCing I'm excited to be taking the next step on my journey as an Aotearoa based Independent Marriage and Civil Union Celebrant.

My grand vision is simple: to create ceremonies that are joyful. Whether your style is relaxed and casual, quirky and fun or Mills and Boon romantic, I believe every ceremony should tell your story in a way that feels authentic and memorable. 

One of the things that will make Fancy Ever After a little different is one of my many side quests as a metalsmith. In the near future, I will give couples the opportunity to create their own wedding rings in my Wairarapa studio - adding another special memory to the journey towards marriage. And with my previous moonlighting as a musician and wedding singer - heck - I'll even sing ya'll down the isle.

I'm still in the early days of learning and building the foundations of a celebrancy offering that reflects my values of warmth, inclusivity, creativity, and genuine connection, while being sure all the important cross the t's and dot the i's legal business is done. Officiating is offical work! But we can still make it LOVED UP!
