Lambert's Luscious Beard Oil

Fellas! Is your beard feeling itchy, rugged and dry? Want to spruce it up? Or ladies, do you want to treat your bearded guy to a little something to make his beard soft and tamed? Lambert’s Luscious Beard Oil is the product for you!

The beard oil, made in Wellington, New Zealand, is full of only natural, nourishing essential oils to tame your unruly beard and soothe itchiness and dryness. There are three scented oils and one plain and simple ‘Natural’ oil for those of you who prefer it scent free. ‘Urbane’ is the sophisticated, man about town scent, ‘Rugged’ is for those lumberjack, outdoorsy types and ‘Buccaneer’ is for the rum swigging, traditional types out there.

There is even a beard comb made out of native, New Zealand timber that is nice enough to carry around with you in wallet or pocket for those situations when your beard needs a little control. Add the comb to a bottle of beard oil to make up a fantastic Valentine’s Day gift for your man, or the perfect Father’s Day gift for your dearest Papa! We’ll even wrap it up all nicely for ya.

Take your pick HERE and be good to your beard, ‘cause it’s being good to you!

MFP wants you!

We’re hiring!

Are you customer focused, full of energy, organized and always willing to go that extra mile? Then you could be just the person we are looking for.

The position is for days Wednesday – Saturday and 25 – 35 hours per week.   (With a bit of flexibility)

MFP is looking for the following skills and qualities in our new girl (or boy!)

-Customer care is THE MOST important part of this role, we love helping people! Helping folks find that perfect dress for a part, that awkward feller who wants to get his lady or mum some jewellery, the smiling person who simply wants a little treasure. We assist folks in the store, via email and phone so tone and a happy face is important.

-Product knowledge! We stock a fair few designers and we know all about them – where they are from, where they are made, how they are made, what they are made from and how best to look after them. We strive to give our customers great products and its super important to be knowledgeable about what we are selling.

-Pictures + words! If you can whip up a pretty picture on Photoshop and are handy with a camera that’s an added bonus, we like to do a spot of blogging about new things in the store or stuff that’s happening out and about in Wellington.

-Technology! Fandangle! Hooray! We use a Windows computer in store and have a few different systems like Vend for our point of sale and Shopify for our website sales.

-Make it pretty! An eye for the little things and making the store look pretty is a must, window displays and general product merchandising to keep the store inviting and fresh for the customers (and us!)

-It’s a wee store! There are just 3 of us in the joint, you will be out on the floor most days, I will be out the back making jewellery, buying stock, doing accounts (blurgh) and helping out the front when need be and then the lovely Anneke taking charge on Sundays. Flexibility is pretty important, I have a young feller who sometimes gets sick (hmmm) and I might need to jig around shifts from time to time. Same goes for me, I am a flexible employer and appreciate open lines of communication between all my lovely staff.

-Cleaning! (Weeee exciting!) Cleaning the store, out the back room, counting stock, keeping track of stock and generally a well-kept organized store that’s easy and fun to work in.

That’s it for now, if you think that this role sounds like you and you would like to join our small but fancy family then send through a cover letter letting introducing yourself, and why you would be great for this role and what you could bring to it and your CV to:

Claire@madamefancypants.com or pop on in store.

Applications need to be in by the 1st of February 2015.

Applicant must have a New Zealand work visa.

Super! xClaire

Please note unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
